It was a hard decision, but I finally decided that our main topic for September would be apples. Johnny Appleseed really and apples as an extension of course. It also took a while to get my nature table and bulletin board together. We changed how we were approaching lessons again this year. Deciding after much thought, that I'm just not great at "following" someone else's curriculum. I guess for our family we just can't take something someone else formulated for "them" and put our family into that mold. So I, like all years, have taken a mix of many things and fit it into our mold. Everyone is happier, especially momma! I'm going back to more of a "unit study" approach with Waldorf mixed in. Really it all fits very well together.
