spring is here!

 

Warmer weather is finally here!  We've had such a long cold winter, which I am thankful for.  I'm hopeful that the bitter cold this year gave our ground a good freeze, which should cause our growing season to be better...*fingers crossed*.  This spring has been 2 years of us being on the homestead, but I don't remember this tree being so beautiful.  We have woods surrounding our farm, but only 2 small trees up by our house and those two trees are special to me.  They are land marks in my eyes, marking when we moved here and as they grow, we will grow with our children and our place.

Also there are lots of dandelions around the yard...I have been wanting to actually put them to good use one of these years and make a dish out of them, just haven't gotten that done yet.
