He is five

Little man is five now! He has always been on the bigger side making one think he is older than he is, including me. He is all the sudden wanting to do lessons like the big kids, counting, journaling in his own way, pitching in and picking up is fifteen things~this is a challenge as he wants to gather up his items in a pile until he has all fifteen, other helpers will come along and steal out of his pile for their fifteen. He had a quiet birthday with a winter wonderland to wake up to, a pancake breakfast, venturing out for "his" time with mamma and daddy over lunch, then back home to play in the snow. He choose pizza for his dinner. Big sister was so proud to make her first double layer cake, which was a wonderful healthy treat!  We had to tweak the recipe a bit, still needing a touch of work but it was tasty.
