around the homestead...

Temperatures have been in the low seventies, a bit cooler for what it's been. It was getting pretty warm way to early.

Saphire FINALLY had her baby!  A boy, with lots of color, Rocky has been chosen for a name. He is nursing very well and she is a wonderful mother!  

Trees have been trimmed in a major way. 

A home has been set up for the twins.
A stanchion has been built. 

We have tomatos, cucumbers, squash, zucchini, peppers, eggplant, and zinnias planted in the garden. 

Horse pulled buggy rides have been given. 

We have mulberry trees!  I hope to make jam with them ~ I think it will take a lot of berries.
