time together
One of the reasons we choose to homeschool was to develop close relationships within our family. Not really believing in "age segregation" so much. I think there is a time and place for that, but not for us on a daily basis.
It took a couple days, but I'm seeing much more team work and much better attitudes. They have taken down fencing, chopped wood, raked leaves, built fires, cooked, done crafts, and played together every day now. They've had many woodland adventures and got back to working on their fort.
Now that we're back to the town house, they have still been better to each other, playing working together. This time away has proven to be a great purpose. Hoping to take a few days here and there to go back to regroup and spend quality time together here. We are surely blessed to still have this magical place.
Peace,
Lanie
