Saturday shenanigans
Today's been such a good day for resting, meandering around switching things up and rearranging a bit. I've had "to string oranges" on the to do list before Christmas. Today was the day that if I got nothing else done those oranges were getting hung!
I brought the bakers rack in from the garage for more "counter" space in the kitchen. Goodness that makes things so much roomer and nicer on the main counter. As you know we have a pretty small kitchen for our size of family. We're used to living small, but I feel that this kitchen may be the smallest yet. Even smaller than the tiny cabin.
Saturdays I don't usually make the kids get dressed, though they do usually have to tidy up their territory(assigned room), but today they didn't even have to do that. We tided up before bed and I did a quick pick up in the living room this morning.
We had waffles for breakfast. This is an easy peasy breakfast because I can make up the batter, fix the littles and mine, and leave the batter for the others to fix themselves a warm waffle as they rise.
I did a crazy thing today and started a youtube channel! I'm sure it will take quite a bit of time and practice to get used to and I'm not super great in front of a camera. I really just started it to have some fun. Life is mundane enough, why not film a bit of it for fun!
Most of the kids are on board, with a couple not even a little. Its pretty interesting because Jeremy and I are both pretty serious introverts. I'm actually hoping this helps us open up and bit and flourish ;)
