Wooden toys

Kay's new wooden people family!  I saw these wooden people on another blog and thought they were just too cute.  They have been playing with them like crazy.  I see a different appreciation for these toys then most "commercial" toys.  It's has been nice to see them be creative with them.  We planed on painting them, but maybe we'll just leave them.  I read some time ago that when you see people with out a face, you have to use your imagination.  http://www.caseyswood.com/ 

 

 

 

Also wooden eggs. They have been great fun.  

 

Oh happy Resurrection Day!!  We have had a down day with sick littles, but at least the weather has been beautiful.  We played most of the day in the house, took a walk and then the bigger boys fixed a nice pancake dinner.  :)
