Summer is definitely here

Days have been reaching into the 90’s making it unpleasant to be outside unless swimming of course or watering the garden in your swimsuit so that you can run through the sprinkler. We’ve been spending lots of time at the pool as of late. It’s been quite nice to unwind let the kids get their energy out and have space for this mama. Being outdoors is where we belong so what better way to appease that need in us than with water!  

Sunday came and went ending with some yummy sourdough waffles. I tried a new thing, mixing buckwheat flour with regular.  Nobody complained, making it a heather option with less gluten for us lesser gluten eaters. Two of us eat mainly gluten free. We sometimes have to make an exception or cause ourselves quite a bit more work. So we compromise and do half and half!
