Spring is ending...

We’ve worked so hard this spring growing seedlings, getting the gardens ready, planting seeds, watering, mulching. This is our first little harvest. Seeing food grow feeds me in more than one way. It’s truly therapy and my escape to nature with a purpose. Experiencing growing all the cool weather things, I have found my passion. I have a working relationship with all the warm weather crops for sure. I grow the warm weather things, I harvest them, and then I can them. Putting up food is a must but figuring out growing more cooler weather foods are a must now for me too. You can’t beat eating fresh all year round.  It’s time for the cooler things to be harvested and let go to seed for saving and on to focusing on tomatoes, and peppers, squashes, cucumbers, and green beans...
Canning fruit and all the things.

Also look at my little orange hats!  They’re getting cute little tomatoes that will soon be juicy, sweet, and orange!

Happy ending to spring and on to summer
