Digging Potaotes

 It seems we were just planning potatoes and now its already time to dig.  Doing it differently this year, we planted in woodchips, making digging easier.  We were able to simply pull the plants up and all the potatoes were right there for easy gathering.  I had already dug a couple rows earlier for our dinners, also checking before the big dig how easy or hard it would be.  Piece of cake!  It took us all about thirty minutes to dig the whole garden.  I shouldn't even say dig, it was more like pull.  It seems I learn much year after year gardening.  Experience is an amazing teacher.  This year we're planning on a second planting ~ a first for us.  Praying blessings over the next harvest to be as big as this first one.  We'll harvest this second planting in the Autumn.
