July Heat

 

Hello! 

We’re in full force heat wave summer!  Pantry’s are organized with anticipation of being filled with summers bounty. Jam and peaches have been canned. Eating fresh from the garden has been a blessing ~ greens, cabbages, green beans, and now we’re getting into tomatoes, cucumbers, and peppers.

With all the heat we’ve jumped back into lessons, keeping us a bit preoccupied while in the house hiding from the sun. Great decision as there’s been a little less squabbling and “boredom”. 

The house addition has been slowed down from the beat also. It’s all in the sun and it’s been miserable to work in it so Jeremy’s been taking some time off. We’ve instead been enjoying the lake and some family time.
