She delivered

I have had a very challenging last week.  Sick kiddos at the beginning then off to my cow Rose delivering.  She was doing great...baby moving around wonderfully.  An hour later we check on her and she is in labor delivering the calf...breech.  I had to help her deliver and thought "this is great", not knowing that breech calves usually don't make it.  Well we got her out and unfortunately she didn't.  I was so excited only to be devastated at this happening.  A beautiful baby girl!  She was so sad mooing for her baby to get up all day and into the next. 
We have had a better day yesterday and today.  She is finally eating and acting like her normal frisky self.

One down...one more to go.  I pray Iris delivers safe and sound!
