I started my second piece of clothing I've ever done.  It's called Kauri Vest from Revelry.  I am actually enjoying making this vest.  It's pretty simple and quick...two of my favorite things.  You knit two pieces then sew them together.  This cute little vest will be for baby which is due to arrive at the end of September.  I have been having quite a few contractions and feel like he may come a bit earlier then the rest have, but I have thought that before and nope a week early every time.  I was working on getting all his things washed and ready and right before I got to wash his clothes our washing machine broke.  So we will be heading off to the laundry mat tomorrow.  I'm okay with washing our clothes their, but I just don't know about baby clothes.  There always seems to be "other" smells that come home on our clothes every time I've done wash there.  Maybe build up on the machines??  We would buy a new one, but where we are moving we won't have space for it, so we will be doing wash at the laundry mat at least over winter.  We hope to have our house done by spring.
