the fourth
We had a lovely forth this year ~ watching the parade, walking up to the square so the kiddos could enjoy the bounce houses. We had planned on a cookout but I was having tummy issues...again so we had to cancel. We ended up just going home for lunch and baked cookies for the evening fireworks show, which we watched with friends in a quaint little town next to ours. It seems that this is the one holiday I manage to always get pictures of and remember to work with. It is one of my favorites! I have been especially pondering our "freedom" this year and what it really means to me. I'm encouraged that though it seems as a "whole" we have lost so much, we still DO have freedom. I will continue to pray for the authorities so that we may live a quiet peaceable life ~ for to me this is freedom!
Blessings,
JM
